July 2009

Last weekend was Kiu’s birthday. Haaa, you’ll start to notice I blog a lot about birthday parties ya.. bo bian. We only open party during birthdays hhehe. Every month also got people birthday. My Brisbane friend circle are getting larger muahaha. I am glad I was invited cause I rarely join their weekly gathering. I only show up once in a while.

The food theme was BBQ and steamboat. Fuiyo, not everyone can make two themes in same night! But they pulled it off perfectly! Both sides serves quick and delicious food. The food are especially good that night, maybe because I am partly intoxicated, hehehe. Free flow beer man!! FREE!! I love to go to such parties man. TOO awesome.

I would throw such party every week too. If I have income.

The party was so awesome, to the extend that even friend’s mum was invited. So cool ya hahahah. Every kids behaved so well that night (big arrow pointing at myself). No shouting, no vulgar words, no misbehaved (pointing at myself again). Auntie said Australia’s beer is good. Hou yea! Auntie you’re awesome.

You know how to differenciate working class and students among friends? Look at the cake. Working class buy high class cake; students buy cakes from The Cheese Cake shop. Ohh, the birthday cake is damn absolutely brilliantly delicious too.

Too bad I only had one slice. Mr Kiu, can buy me same cake for my birthday next year? I want two pieces k? K thanks dulu.

All of us with our cold beer. I feel more “freedom” without elderly outside, but it’s colder la. Have to use beer to “tahan” the cold. Hehehe. From left Jerry Bing Eric Chester Diaozai Kiu HengNgee (Sam – wtf I didn’t know you got such name hahaha lololol) Vincent Chuan Chris and Kevin (I think? Didn’t have to chance to talk to him, and intro myself. Silly Bing)

And lastly, a message from Sarawak dai kor – Mr.Kiu

im

Mr. Kiu said Chris had big influence at Sarawak during his reign as samseng daikor. But now retire already, so don’t mention too much. Mr.Kiu even hinted us that Chris almost kill a lady with a kid.

OH MY GOSH.

We ordered a complete family meal at KFC few days ago. We bought the meal with a coupon. AUD$34.99 which includes:

  • 15 pieces chicken
  • 1 large coleslaw
  • 1 large mash potato
  • 2 large fries
  • nuggest
  • soft drink

Whoa we can’t finish the bucket of KFC man. Even from big appetite friends like Chuan and Chris! 3 pieces of chicken was dapao-ed home and made into sandwich the next day.

Shanice called me few days ago. “Oi! mana pergi ohh this holiday? Find something to do leh”. Well, what have I been up to? I have been hiding at home the whole holiday cause the weather is a bit crazily cold outside (and parents told me to avoid crowds – H1N1 8-O ).

Stay at home and feel cold. What would normal people do? EAT. A. ALOT. And I am back to my original weight, 95kg. Probably heavier.

“OKlah. Is time to go out and have some fun. Let’s go eat some seafood at Gold Coast” I told her. “Chester leh? I still owe him a meal” Shanice said.

Chester and Jerry joined us too. The more the merrier.

Chris suggested to eat at a famous seafood restaurant at Gold Coast. “You know how to go kah?” I asked. He answered “yes” affirmatively. “..I think” he added. Besides that, we also wanted to drink pearl milk tea at Gold Coast. Chris insists it’s the best milk tea around

We found a seafood restaurant along Seaworld Drive at Gold Coast, called Peter’s Fish Market. Chris said that is not the restaurant he recommended earlier but we were too hungry. “Aiyah don’t give a shit liao la. Hungry already. I WANT TO EAT LIAO!!

The oysters are good. Probably it’s very fresh. The fish and chips… er…. can’t finish it. Too lousy. I give it 1/5. And I consider that very generous

We went home satisfied, and happy. But the story haven’t finish yet. When we reach home, it’s about dinner time! Wohoo! :-D  Time to eat again! Hahahaha. We get hungry easily man. Blame the weather!

  • 12:30pm Depart to Gold Coast
  • 2:30pm Peter’s Fish Market
  • 3:30pm Pearl Milk Tea
  • 4:00pm Max Brennor
  • 6:30pm Brisbane
  • 7:30pm Golf (Driving Range)
  • 8:00pm Dinner at 圆缘园 (read as 圆圆圆 wtf 8-O )

books-2
I love reading books. Surprise leh.. haha. I hate textbooks, that is why I never get good grades at school. Who love textbook anyway? You nerds     I have one favorite textbook during high school, though. It is a science textbook. Favorite chapter? “Genitals

keyboard

I do not read many books during highschool because most of the time I was forced to study textbooks. Naturally, I avoid books whenever possible. I spent more time on WASD and mouse buttons.

When I am done with highschool. I had my first experience studying online. My university offers offline lecture and study notes. I can pretty much stay in room whole semester. That is when I start missing the smell of book again.

I started buying computer and car magazines. Soon, I realised I do not have money to invest in either any of them. So I started to buy Men’s Health. “At least I can take care of my own body” I told myself.

Men’s health magazine was my bible for two years. Then, I stopped buying Men’s health magazine because the content are repetitive. Well, you can say that I have a complete workout instructions now.  Olivia always say “why you always buy that book oh? You are still fat ar..”

shit 8-O

books

And then until one year ago, I started reading all sorts of books. Not limiting myself to magazines. I bought all sorts of books that range from politics, fishing, bibliography, motivational, guides to photography. I try to avoid fiction and non-fiction novels cause I think that’s wasting my time. Hehe  .

ebook

I download ebooks illegally too. Who doesn’t like free stuffs?

print

I prefer to print out ebooks than reading it on the screen. I won’t last even 5 minutes. Printing it out costs less than an actual book. Do you agree?

When was the last time you read a book?
