Ahbing can play badminton?! Wohhhh sugoinehhh

I was very active in sports for the past four months, especially in badminton.

Due to my limited exposure to badminton, I am still a newbie. I have little experience in badminton, the last time I played badminton was like.. uhmm… 9 years ago. And my first badminton racket was Yonex, bought when I was 7 years old. I still remember my dad bought it for RM32, at Yaohan, Centre Point.

During that period, badminton court was like my second home, not because I play badminton everyone, it’s mainly because that’s the only dry platform where I can ride bicycle (the badminton court is in padang, grass everywhere mah)

Few months ago, my friend started to invite me to join their badminton session. We just simple rent racket and play. You know, like those auntie company their children play badminton? hit and return, hit and return, hit and return.. no stunts involved.

Until a certain period, I asked Chris.. “Eh boss, want to get serious in badminton kah? Fishing is too expensive and time consuming lah. Plus it’s pretty intense too. Summer almost here, must work out oh lin si”

He agreed. And following week, I bought my second racket. This time, a proper one. COMES WITH A BAG. NOHHH!! GENG OR NOT!

We started to go badminton club frequently. Watch badminton coaching sessions in Youtube (hahaha my coach was World Champion man). We made new friends. We have review session after every session. We do more conditioning workout to improve stamina and increase performance. We do proper warm up before start and cool down after every session.

… eh wait, why we sounds like very pro already ar? Hahahah. Nolah, we’re still learning. In fact, I am the one who has much more to learn. I am level 30 only. Chris trained with state players before, so compare to him, I am still a pea.

I started to influence friends around me to pick up badminton as a serious sports again. Khai, for example. He improved in every session although he did not always attend every time. But he is showing sign of improvement.  See this photo, he is so yeng.

This photo was taken by Jensen. This photo is deceiving. I might look very yeng. In fact, the shuttlecock hits the net if I recalls correctly. In a nutshell, I still have much to improve, and looking forward to get different challenges from different players. I can’t wait to get a proper coaching session, probably when I go back to Malaysia? The coach here charge $25 per hour.. I also want to become coach, man. Malaysia only RM10 per hour.

That’s all for this post. Wrote so much in this entry. You know why? cause I was lateeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee for lecture, so I stayed at lab and wrote this entry hahahahahahha. See ya guys.
