Lately, besides badminton, I pick up another new hobby – cycling
Last Saturday was damn hot, Chris and I do not want to stay in house and become roast chicken. So we went out for a quick ride. Well, at least there’s WIND outside, we thought.
The temperature that day was 30 degree. Our destination was to South Bank and back. Go man-made beach to see bikini chicks and cool our eyes. We are cruising along the wind, whoa damn nice.

Took some photos along the way.. we enjoyed the scenery and the hot and humid weather. But something is missing..
“Ui lin si, we need cold drinks man. Let’s ride to UQ get some cold drinks!! We cycle through Green bridge, it’s a detour but I think we can make it.”
We both agree and we continued our journey through South Bank. See gwai poh wear bikini mahh.. we MUST pass that destination. Hahaha.
We saw Jenny working in South Bank Subway.. ahaha. omg we stood there for almost 10 minutes – IN FRONT OF HER. She didn’t notice us.. ngai, my heart broke man. I am not attractive enough.

We continued our journey again. We cycled through West End Market, Chris decided to look for some food cause he has not been eating since morning.

West End market is where those ah pak ah poh sale their old stuffs. You can find vintage cd, cheap vegetables, fresh food, lemonades and even barber! We were a bit late though, everyone was packing up.
You see, ah pak liu foh.. I also lose. I only know how to play Guitar Hero.

We parked out bike under a big tree… ahhh… 风凉水冷.

Chris ate.. er… can’t recall the name. But I KNOW how to make it
Fry a pre-mix dough in a big pot of oil, then gosok a bit of garlic oil, put sour cream, sweet chillie sauce, shredded cheese and gao dim! Geng ciao or not? Hahaha. The bread texture is a bit similiar to 油炸”鬼” (I can’t find the pinyin for that word -_- paiseh)

Our bicycle trip took us 3 hours… yeah, THREE HOURS. Why? We’re lost loh… hahaha. Refer to the map I’ve drawn. Based on my calculation, we almost cycled 23km. 23km is a little amount for racing bike – provided on a smooth surface. We rode heavier mountain bike where we have to cycle up steep hills and.. you know la, I am damn heavy also.. need more power to step on pedal hahahhaah.
We thought we almost die man. I didn’t take much photo in the latter part of the journey because we’re on a brink of survival. The combination of hot weather, low water supply, low energy level and we almost had hyperthermia (learnt this word from Discovery Channel, geng or not). We thought we will take a cab home – which is very humiliating.
I am definitely going to do this another time.. with the reference of GPS in my phone -_-
Next destination, SUNNYBANK!
