Do you pay these parking tickets?
In Kota Kinabalu, you will get these parking tickets as long as you park in a parking “lot”. The parking “lot” was painted with different colours to differentiate the parking charges, where it ranges between RM0.25 cents to RM1.05 per hour.
The personnel who issues this ticket all wear like ninja (to prevent sunburn), and their writing are usually awful.
I have not paid these tickets for more than 3 years… and I threw away 100% of them.
“Aiyahhhh no need pay de lah. Private company only, they can’t do shit on me” (Government sub-contract to private company)
… and it’s a headache to look for these personnel because they keep walking around. I didn’t bother wasting my time to pay that RM0.25.
Then lately I heard the private company actually go through all your past records and charge you accordingly. This is what I overheard during yam cha with friends. Is that true?
Until someone gives me a reliable response. I will continue ignore these tickets, until my first saman arrives

I tell you about my story with that CAR PARK ticket when we meet up. How we deal with it.
