Beach boys are taking their shirts off! Summer is here! Wohoooo!! Time to show my six packs!!

It was a boring and hot afternoon, staying inside my “oven” room, I’ve decided to go out and do something. Chris having the same thought as well, we say “okay let’s go fishing!”. Ewe and Annie was around the area doing their usual grocery shopping, they decided to join on our “whim” trip.

Our destination – Manly Jetty. We decided to choose this place because we were seeking a near fishing spot, plus the tide is running out, we have to act swiftly.  I did not arrange my fishing tackles for months now, everything was so messy.

Chris and I were like “oh gui, I don’t remember how to tie the knots already!” “relax bah, just put in here then pusing pusing pusing, put into that hole again then pull.”

Due to the tide running out, we have no time to rig a geng-cao line, so we just simply set up our rig like this: hook> sinker> line. But with this setting, we usually catch fish hahahaha. Geng chao rigging only for show off purpose only, every time get small fishes. With this simple rig, I even manage to catch a crab, but it slipped away… oh well.

I was showing Ewe how to cast a fishing line, and taught him some fishing knowledge that I required from Google. Now, we have another fishing kaki already!! We are taking him to buy fishing tackles this few days. Fishing can be addictive, it’s like going to casino – cause you’ll never know when you can get big prize.

There’s only one rational reason for me to wake up 3.am in the morning – go fishing.

Jeremy and Chris fetch me at 4am. I only had a cup of coffee and cereals as breakfast. We head straight to fishing destination without having breakfast. Luckily I bought 3 McMuffins at petrol station or else I’ll be 3kg lighter by now.

Saying 3kg lighter, I’ve gain few more pound since I last posted. You throw me into deep sea, I can float without effort. Oil is lighter than water, remember?

It’s already sunrise when we reach our fishing destination – a place called Mooloollaba. The name sounds so funny, it sounds like the sound to make a baby laugh. Guji~guji~moo~loo~loo~mooloollaba ~ Imagine that.

Can’t miss such a pretty scenary, must do tai chi! It’s a good place to meditate I reckon. I meditate 10mins then got gwai lou come disturb me. “Sorry, did I disturb your peacefulness?”. I was so into the “zone” already, feel like floating on the sea.

Jeremy caught the biggest fish of the day. A bream. It doesn’t look big, but for us – it’s BIG. Can open champagne and celebrate you know.

I caught fish also la. No play play man. I wanted my whole upper body to have a balance tan, so I took off my shirt and get under the sun for few hours. Now I have sunburn. I forgot the consequences. I did not use my brain.

Look at Chris’s picture – I do not want to elaborate more. Our fish become his dinner that night.

This tortoise float around our fishing spot. One minute it’s here, another minute it disappear. I wanted to toss coin at it – can get good luck mah. Luckily this time I got use brain.. “AUD$0.10 = RM0.30″. Not worth.
