Nightlife

I have been clubbing since 17. that’s when I was still underage.

How can I enter the premises when I was still underage? The answer is simple – my dad brought me :)

The first time he tried to sneak me in was when I was 14, when my first puberty signs were showing, a.k.a the bulu).

Then how? failed lah of course. We laughed together and went back home. “Your bulu is not thick enough hahaah” my dad said.

I still remember the first drink I had—Tequila Pop, followed by few glasses of beer. Confident rise to roof top and girls looks prettier. I walked like I have 50 inches chest and 6 packs. Confident gao-gao I tell you.

Not only that, my dad also taught me the 5 Commandments in drinking (or rather, night life). I remember every single commandments and practise them until today. I am sharing with you today.

  1. Do not act like a jerk – You are in control of your emotion, not emotion control you.. If you did something wrong, do not use alcohol as excuses – blame yourself.
  2. Do not pick fights – You don’t be a tai lin ngong and go start a fight, you’ll never know what card that guy has in hand (literally). If fights happened (related to your friend, or just a brawl fights) avoid at all cost. Run bitch! runnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!
  3. Only fight – If your woman was involved in fight (uiyoh, your woman very garang o lin si!), e.g. the guy slapped or punch the girl. You have to be act tough even if you’re balls is like shaking like a peanut. If the guy points a gun at you—you MUST NOT run (but don’t die la for the woman la… unless she’s your mum)
  4. Calm – remain calm at all time, this shows men’s masculinity and confidence, don’t shout like a girl when shit happens (run away like a women too).
  5. Drink slow – enjoy the process, this is not competition. You pay alcohol to make yourself miserable, what’s the purpose?

P/S Driving tip from uncle: You can drive fast, but only do it on familiar roads. But the best option is of course drive safe la..)

Now, let’s talk about my mum.

My mum also hang out with my dad all the time (only stopped at recent years, age finally caught up hahaaha). They used to be clubbing couple. My mum taught me a few tricks too, mainly on drinking ethics and what woman like in men (hehe). But the most valuable lesson I learn from her was How To Get Drunk—The cheap way. Here’s how:

  1. Drink beer with straw
  2. Sit under fan

Don’t play play, these two tips looks very simple. But I really saved a lot money with this method lo. This method really works.. hahaha. However, I only used this trick few times – real men drink beer with big gulps. Hell yeah :)

Have you learn anything new today? You have any tips to share with me mah? leave comment.

The last time I celebrated my birthday at Malaysia was year 2003, then off to oversea for studies. That birthday night, I bought 3 bottles of Chivas. For the first time in my life, I vomitted. That vomit cost me RM1,000.

I danced to “Yeah” song from Usher all. night. long.

Fast forward to year 2010. This year, I am celebrating my birthday at Malaysia. At Library to be exact.. the pub is called Library. Hehe. Funny name.

Well, maybe I should emphasize the word gathering because that’s what I told my friends, “hey come gather this weekend, enjoy and have fun!”

I haven’t seen some of my high school friends for years. It’s a perfect weekend to hang out together. I did not intent to celebrate at first, that day just happens to be my birthday :)

And boy, I am lucky to have girl friends among them. If not, this would be sausage fest again. From top right – Joyce, Alice, Pheon and Siew.

The special night coincidentally has colour theme to it, which you probably see from the colour of this post – green and black.

Even the whole photo album looks the same! so nice right?

… and look at what everyone is wearing! green and black! The atmosphere and theme setting of the night also green and black, the official beer, Carlsberg too! I’ve just decided green is the colour of the year.

And I am wearing green dai fu to casino this year :D

We had so much Hoegaarden beer that night, buy 1 pint free another half pint. RM32 a pint for fuck sake. I don’t understand why Hoegaarden is so expensive, it’s a BEER.

At European country, they sell some beer for only €1. The price of Hoegaarden will eventually come down. But that gotta take some time cause Hoegaarden has wide fan base. Even friends who don’t drink beer say it tastes damn good.

Tooheys Dry and VB are the best beer I had so far. Both Australian beers.

Hoegaarden is a wonderful beer, don’t get me wrong. Drink a few pints you’ll still get the dizzy feeling (like that baru syok maaa).

Hmmm, when can I swim in my pond of beer pool leh?

Surprise birthday cake!! Was not expecting this at all ^^;

The best part is having whole table of friends singing birthday song to me. Hou song aaaaaaaa.

This year I didn’t get any birthday kiss. Bleh… continue part two tomorrow!

Oh, I am 25 this year. You can wish me Happy birthday in comment box if you haven’t done so.. HEHEHEHEE.

I miss the clubbing scene.

… and I thought I was.

Until the day I stepped into my first club in year 2010. I was wrong. Clubbing doesn’t appeal to me anymore :(

I used to be excited about the music, the alcohol, the ladies, the atmosphere. Now, this feeling has faded. Of course I still get excited with pretty girls around lah. Who doesn’t?

I have not join any clubbing events for whole duration of 2009. It’s a big deal for me because I have been clubbing since I am 17. Clubbing has been my weekend activity since, more like a ritual.

Then I suddenly decide not to go clubbing for one WHOLE year. It’s a challenging task. Put in another context, it’s like you to stop peeing halfway, you have to tahan for 30 secs then release again. Go try, and you will know how I felt.

The last time I stepped into clubs was one year ago, I was really looking forward to go club, especially the most hyped club in KK now, call “FireFly”

No, not the song from Owl City.

Personally I think the club is a very small. There are good and bad at such situation, depending on how you look at it.

The good thing is, you can get into damn close distance with opposite sex (woohooo nice), and thus easier to approach. The club feels more lively when crowded and you are more likely to be intimate with opposite sex if you were in a conversation. This is good if that’s person you hope to get close with.

Bad thing is, if the other person is same sex as you and you had no chance to get separate the distance. To make it worse, the opposite sex has a feature you doesn’t like. E.g. smelly, sweaty, ham-sap hand.

I guess I am neither good nor bad. The reason is, I can get close without getting TOO close because my huge tummy is keeping the distance. If my buddy has same figure as me, we need to shout during our conversation. Hahaha.

Clubbing scene is never a good place to have conversation. Action speaks louder than word, baby.

Yvonne, you have sexy ass. I like.
