I laughed so hard at these headlights. Seriously.
Maybe I should install ear rings on side mirror, and put on a lipstick on the bumper..
My mum had a really good laugh, lol.
Respect to the car owner!

10:49pm, Coffee Bean, Brunei.
I’ve been fairly active on the internet. I might have missed out many great things in life, I also had… aiyohhhhh the lady beside my table is talking so loud that I cannot concentrate writing. She broke my chain of thought..
Anyway.
I managed to meet a lot of interesting personalities despite I spend majority of my time looking at computer screen, would not have meet these people if I am not blogging or exposing myself on the internet.
I took personality test (very accurate shit). Result: I am slightly introvert and I like to observe, and give consultation (a.k.a. senkalin)
Here are some friends that I’ve met so far. I hope they don’t mind I blog about them.. (I mentioned them in blog without their prior permission hhahha)
Flanegan
I can’t remember how we know each other virtually.. we met at Melbourne (I studied at Brisbane and he was at Melbourne). He introduces me the best souvlaki I’ve ever tasted in my life.
Flanegan majors in photography. From the first day I met him, he has remained the pro-est and true-est artist I ever known. His passion for photography has never diminish for a bit despite he faces many challanges and difficulties. Now he is planning for a Japan trip and hopes to a job there. Danny Choo2.0!
Andrew's son, not himself
Andrew is first friend I met at Brunei, at Coffee Bean to be exact (where I’m writing this post).
He is blog reader of mine and we exchanged email a few times. Father of 3 children and he still looks so young!
Andrew runs a few company and he is into Startup scenes, he is one of the influencer that make me realise how awesome is start ups, especially in tech field. If I had a big idea that’s worth pursuing – he is the first person I will approach.
He owns crazy amount of t-shirts from startups, lol.
Dinoza
This guy has bigger balls than me – he is Managing Director of Imperial Hotel and also the Creative Director of Breeze Magazine. Besides appearing in many high profile launches, Dinoza also plays at a local Frisbees club every weekend. He is probably the busiest person in KK because he is every where, really!
Great guy to know – I have much to learn from him. Can’t wait to yum cha with him.
John Wong
I met John at Hyatt Ramahdan Buffet – we both clicked straight away cause we’re interested in techie stuff. He is more into coding and programming and I am into marketing. John and Lim are Flexnode Solutions partners, who brought us one of the most popular KK Food website Ravejoint.com
Lim Tzyy Shyong
I haven’t met this guy yet.. but I can’t wait. By reading his blog and tweets, I know we are same type of people!
We read almost the same book and our thoughts are alike. Lim is like my virtual twins.. but I doubt he is as hairy as me la. (and I got metal balls muahaha).
Lim blogs at Clipsoflogic.com and is currently one of my favourite blog locally.
He also launched StartNOW.com.my not long ago – also my kinda website. It’s about launching a project publicly and keeping yourself credible. I think it’s awesome! I joined (free) and also shared some of my thoughts and experience.. if you’re excited about creating projects and startups, this website is for you.
It’s these chain of events that allows me to network beyond my circle of friends. Meeting new friends is greatest thing happened in my social life (and still is!).
There are still many online readers that says “hey let’s meet up / yum cha / makan” is on my waiting list. Rest assured I have not forgotten our promises.
There’s a one-liner I heard somewhere,
“It’s not about the things you do, but the people you know”
Make effort to reach out – even if it’s beyond your comfort zone. Stop complaining if you say “I don’t have friends” – you are not putting enough effort to reach out.

NIAMAHH! THIS CAR BROKE DOWN AGAIN!
This car, KAP7040, used to be a legend in my high school.
Why?
I am only kid who drove Mercedes Benz to school, daily. Despite staying no further than 0.5km away (serious) — this was my first car.
*** Fast forward 9 years ***
This old car is still on the road! Mileage is getting high, engine’s overheating and leakage every where.. and burglars attempted to break in too — the car is getting old, and problems are arising one after another.
My mum could be the catalyst in car aging process, since she drive this car now, lol.
That is why this car is getting more attention from us lately, feels like it’s dying soon. However my dad have not given up hope yet, “send to garage again la, what to do” he says.

好死不死… this car broke down in the busiest road during peak period.
The car had to be moved to a safer place — which is coincidentally beside Philippines Market.
If this happened to me 2 years ago, I would be so angry and cursed non-stop.
Now I am a grown up man (uiseh).

I walked to the nearest coconut stall and ordered a cold coconut.
I think of Kenny Sia every time I see coconut. Does this happen to you too?

I requested my dad’s mechanic to come over to patch things up. He showed up an hour late.
During one hour period, I had a coconut juice; talked to Pakcik who sold coconut; talked to a tourist; wondered around Philippino market, imagining myself as a stranded stranger in an unknown territory.
That felt incredible.. the indescribable feeling of freedom.

Had too much coconut juice that day and can’t find toilet XD
What would you do if your car broke down and your mobile phone ran out of battery?

So one day I went movie with my buddies. (One of the rare days I watch movies with guys, heh.)
“Uihh lin si, look at that banner eh!! so freaking funny hahahhaha”
“Which one? the one with lots of graffiti? 天天好天 message board?”

“Yaya.. go closer and see eh!!”
“Walao.. people really takes effort to leave message here wo.”
“… but, what’s the point of doing this ah?” I asked.
“That is not important, look at Lam Tak Weng’s lan jiao ehh!!” my friend insisted.

Haven’t seen these kind of things for long long time =_=”
Can’t believe people still do these graffitis.
The sight was reminiscent of my high school days, where our toilet is full of these nen nen(s) and lan jiao(s).
I would never make a message board if I produce my own movie some day. It’s suicidal.
***
On another note — you guys know where can I watch this movie ah? I want to support local movies.. but I couldn’t find their movie in DVD stores yet.
There are many reasons why I want to support local movie, here are my reasons.
1) I am going to be main actor and become famous, and I do not want others to download my movies illegally. I want support! (monetary support lah)
2) I am producing my own movie after 30, illegal downloads will hurt my profit.
3) More support = more great movies = more chances of leng lui to be on screen with me.
If you happened to own this movie, please let me borrow your DVD.. hahahaha.

“Wong Jian Ping?! Hello?! Wong Jian Ping??”
I heard someone calling my full name while I was reading book at home.
“Kamu Wong Jian Ping kahhh?” the postman asked the renovation worker, who was doing a minor renovation outside my house (who happens to be Chinese also, not illegal immigrant).
I immediately shout “saya! saya!” from my house, preventing the postman to ask more silly questions.
The postman handed me a box..
“Tolong sign sini, tulis nombor IC jugak ya.”

“Wah, my parcel from US arrived so quickly geh?” I was damn excited.
I opened the parcel… and my items from Amazon has finally arrived!

I was sooooooooooooo excited! My books arrived earlier than expected. And it’s before Christmas. Oh hell yeah.
These are Christmas presents I bought for myself, this is a reward for myself for being hardworking and discipline in 2010 — I tell you, the feeling of unboxing Christmas gift is so awesome.
I jumped around with the parcel while my mum was cooking.
“Oii, behave yourself” my mum warned me.
Hahahaha, I cannot tahan bah. More excited than receiving my _________ (I don’t know what to fill in the blank)

In the 8 Amazing Items I bought from Amazon as Christmas Gifts post, I said that I bought 8 items. But when I check out, there are some items are not available outside US, so I only bought 4 items instead. 3 books and 1 towel.
The towel is very canggih.. it absorbs waters kaw-kaw!! $24 is a great investment. I showed the towel to mum, she said “wahh, very geng ohh!!”
“Of course la, I got do research one mah. And my taste in fashion is never wrong” I said.
….. I blurred the billing address (above photo), but forgot to blur the shipping address, bummer!
Too lazy to re-upload the photo. There goes my privacy.

The book that excites me the most, The 4 Hour Body by Tim Ferriss. I know it’s hardcover, but damnnnnn I never expect the book to be so thick! Almost twice the size of his previous book, The 4 Hour Work Week.
There are so many awesome content — I can’t wait to check out
Need to finish my current reading list first, though.
P/S: My book collections are slowing building up. If there’s fire, I’d probably save this books first, then only save important documents, such as passports and birth certificates. Haha
.

Oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah /happy
I have new readings materials lalalalallalala (and also a new towel).
Oh, to readers who left comments on 8 Things I Bought at Amazon, sorry I have to let you down. I am not able to test the “17 countries, 6 weeks, 1 pair of underwear” statement myself. Maybe some other time lah, that’s definitely one of must-have items if I were to go extensive travel on upcoming year.
