Daytrip Back to Kampung to Visit Grandparents (12 Hours Before S.E. Asia Trip)

My grandmother underwent a leg surgery many days ago. I had to change my plan and free up one day to pay her a visit. Was glad I made this decision as my grandmother was discharged from hospital yesterday, many relatives paid visit and it felt like Chinese New Year

I’ve gotta make more time to visit my grandparents as they are getting older. (You should too when you still have the chance!) Work and money is secondary when it comes to family. Mark my words.

My grandmother will recover in no time. Doctor says she can rejoin her football team in only few weeks time.

I will travel with only RM500 – including accommodation, transport and everything… HAHAHA you dream lah! Add one more “0” behind will look more like it.

I’m going to start the trip with my bank account close to 3 digits so I will probably consume most of my food via grass on road side.

Jokes aside, I’ll do a total expenditure post by the end of the trip so you can learn from my experience. Ok?

Brunch: Fish Head Noodle

Had one of my favourite fish noodle shop at SS2. Had been re-visiting this restaurant since the first time. If I bring this shop to KK, I can easily mark up the price 2-3 times the selling price here.

Million Dollar Question From Grandparents

Drove back to KL after dinner with grandparents. It’s a bit sad to only meet them for few hours. "So where do you go tomorrow?” my grandparents asks.

“I’m off to see the world. I’ll see you again in one month’s time… maybe longer if I decided to extend my stay, HEHEHHE”

“How about your shop?”

“I trust my partner and managers, they’re very da det (打得). I trust them to run the business for me entirely, with minimal supervision.”
