I am temporarily staying at Shannon’s place. Shannon is one of my high school friend at Singapore. He offered me a place to crash during my stay here. Mr. Nice guy
Tonight, his brother, Sheldon invited us to dinner at Japanese restaurant. The place is called Fish Mart Sakuraya at West Coast Plaza.

This is Shannon, holding freshest salmon sashimi you can possibly find in Singapore.
According to the brothers, the fish are imported directly from Japan every Tuesday and Friday. If you’re from Singapore – TAKE NOTE!!
Sheldon is a doctor from Singapore’s National University Hospital (NUH). He can’t be wrong

My heart goes buk buk buk buk buk buk when I see this large bottle of sake. Alcohol… hmmm…. /indulgence
Wonderful things happen after consuming alcohol.

Sakuraya fish mart is also a mini mart – selling all sorts of food, 装饰品 and confectioneries from Japan. I saw my favourite item..
KEWPIE MAYONNAISE!! I suspect my huge tummy consist of 30% mayonnaise and 70% beer.

Fresh 海产 directly from Japan… maybe? Maybe only the fish are imported directly… but not certain seafoods. I am not sure. Heh.

11 pieces of salmon sushi for $4.00. Great!
And so I thought it was. This menu is a bit misguided. It actually means Item menu 11, not 11 pieces. Bleh. Makes me excited for few seconds.

And here comes the main dish for the night! Salmon belly, yellow fin, mackerel and.. can’t remember what Sheldon told me ^^;

This is our dessert.
It’s just two vanilla muaji with a fork. Don’t think so much.
Total cost for this meal $155.00.
