New theme again.

Hello teddy.

It took me ages to find a theme. I think more than 2 hours. This is what I did - I simply pick one theme that is 2.5 compatible, download and check out the image folder. See weather I can modify the picture inside.

I will modify and learn bit by bit alongside the process. Hopefully someday I can master this Wordpress (still pretty new to me you see). When that moment come, I think I'll be 30 years old, lol.

I haven't check out what's new in 2.5 yet. Interesting to know Wordpress has photo batch upload. I was using flickr.com to host all my blog photos. It was very time and effort consuming :( but that's the only way I know so far.

Yea I agree that it's hard for us to find Wordpress themes that suit our needs :) it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. Pffft. Usually I'll hunt design blogs and sites for Wordpress themes because their's are usually nicer and offers quite a lot of functionality as well. Feel free contact me if you need help finding - I'll be more than happy to do so. Oh and maybe it will help if you try to visualise what kind of theme you want exactly before Googling for them - you want them to be minimalist or maximalist? Three-columns or two-columns? Widgetised or not? General colour scheme? These little details may help a lot :)

And regarding the WP2.5 upgrade, I advice you to think twice about it - especially if you're a heavy photo uploader. WP2.5 does come along with a batch uploader (you can select multiple files and upload them at once) but the problem is that you have to insert every single uploaded photo / image into your post one by one (there's so far no workaround yet, the WP people might be fixing it in WP2.5.1)... but if you're okay with that, WP2.5 will be your cup of tea :)
