Visiting Kek Lok Si Temple at Penang.. And Made An Important Discovery About Chinese Zodiac Sign

Mega statue of 观音 at 极乐寺 (Kek Lok Si), which means supreme bliss or extreme bliss, something like that.

I spend my weekend at Penang not long ago. Was there to attend The Queen’s brother’s wedding.

At the same time, I am also meeting THE relatives of The Queen. First time meet so many relatives at once. Definitely not for the faint hearted.

Almost 20 of us visited the temple together, but I only took little photos of them ^^;

All these statue of Chinese 生肖 looked very animated, and it’s very new.

The last time I was here, was 2007, and I only visited the lower part – didn’t know there’s many more to be explored at top of the hill.

Besides the food at Penang, Kek Lok Si temple is a must-visit.. especially night time.
