Tales of Four Virgins – Expedition to Sydney (Day 3)

This photo is taken at Sydney City (7.30am), I woke up at 7am and wander around the city. It’s cold.

With me, only a $10 dollar note and a camera, Directionless. I want to feel the breath of the city.

It’s awesome.

This post covers my 3rd day trip at Australia during summer holiday. You can find the previous posts here: Day 1, Day 2(a) and Day 2(b).

Bondi beach is our first destination. It’s one of the well known beach at Australia, lots of surfers and chicks. However, the weather that day wasn’t good. Didn’t take many photos. Stormy day :( hence only a few kaki surfers at beach. All chicks surround themselves with towel. Spoil scenary man..

The rain pours heavily, we have to reroute our itinerary and schedule. Used iPhone to check the location and opening hours of the interesting places.

Sit at local coffee shops, purposely sit beside two leng lui. Hehehehehehe. Jerry took so many of their close up photos. He zoom my camera to the max…

We decided to return here again when the weather is better.

Chris is unable to focus. His exam result comes out today. If he passes everything, we got a happy trip. If failed, his face will turn darker than 古天樂.

“Where is wifi? where is wifi? where is wifi? where is wifi?” – that’s what we hear from him since morning.

We finally found free wifi at McDonald. Result? ALL PASS!

“I spend you guys eat ok!!!!” he shouted in McD.

He bought us ice-cream ^^

Harris De Wheel Pies is one of our must-go places in Sydney trip. Highly recommended by peers and online reviews. Blehh, high review 個屁. Looks good la, but doesn’t taste as good as I anticipated.

Eh guys? Did I eat this pie? I can’t eat beef wo. How come I know how the pie tastes like? maybe I DID have a bite.

We had to pay at least $6 for an hour of parking in order to taste that pie. Mehh.. not worth it. I rather eat at McDonald. It’s one of the disappointments for our whole trip. (…and this is the only, I think)

Going travel with a bunch of friends who can’t make firm decisions, always say “隨便啦,我都可以的” is a good idea. No fuss over small matters, and appreciate every moment we hang out.

But when we fight for toilet, we don’t give face to each other lah.

“Shit you, go pangsai downstairs la wei, mine half way out already!” :D

Oh, there is another complain I almost forget. Chester keeps complaining “Ha… eat again meh….” He is the one who comes up with the idea must enter any restaurant every 100 steps. He regrets with his own idea.

At Sydney Darling Harbour, awesome weather :)

We visited Maritine Museum under 15 minutes, just in time to tour the whole museum before they close. Free entrance.

I strongly recommend you guys to visit Pancakes On The Rocks (at Darling Harbour one) Why would I say that? Apart from the good looking and delicious pancakes, there are so fucking ridiculous huge numbers of attractive female customers!!

We had doubts about going into the restaurant because of the staggering amount of pretty girls. The main reason we are reluctant is because we are not wearing our best suits. Hahahahah.

We were so cool when we’re in the restaurant, you gotta be there to see. It is so funny.

We return to Bondi beach again. This time with better weather.

You Only Live Once – No regrets on whatever path you decided to take. For me, that is so true. Live life to the fullest, and appreciate every moment. Are you working towards your dream? or do you complain everyday? Deep inside you, you know the choice is ultimately yours.

People reading at Bondi beach, punya syokkkkkkkk. Looks like a movie scene, must take photo :)

I wish I do that some time too – with a girl without cloths.

This is the first time I witness huge wave. The rock in middle is 6 feet tall, same as me. The wave is almost twice as tall as me ^^;

The whole scenery is simply breath-taking.

Finally, we reached our main event of the day. Hurricane’s Grill & Bar Steakhouse Restaurant.

We waited one hour in the queue, had some beer because it was cold outside. Those gwai poh nipples also become hard liao but they still wear little -_- I don’t understand. There’s a sentence in hakka, oi liang mm oi miang (要美不要命) which means to sacrifice to become pretty.

Good also la, we got free eye-treatment. Whenever there’s pretty chick walk by, four of us immediately become quiet ^^;

“Wahhh her nen nen can drill hole o..”

Hurricane Restaurant is famous with their BQQ ribs, fucking huge ones! You can choose either pork or lamb. One plate costs AUD$32, around RM100. Besides ribs, you do not have other choices. Hahaa. They serve only RIBS.

Cut those ribs into single stripes, then use finger to hold on the end of the bone, tear the whole piece of meat by mouth. WHOAAAAAAAAA whole chunk of chewy and juicy meat lastik in your mouth, BBQ sauce flow from side of your lips. *nom nom nom nom nom nom*

We ate like barbarians. so syokkkkkk!!

It is finger lickin’ good. Was good while it lasted.

After the meal, we went back to our backpacker hotel, took a shower. Off to Sydney Casino!!

I am prohibited to take photo at casino, so I’ll tell you what I experienced inside:

  • Saw a few familiar poker players there, always appear on World Poker Series Championship. They are treated like VIP in casino.
  • Jerry lost $100
  • Each cup of drinks cost $2, but we found a fault machine, so we get our drinks for free ^^; Jerry wanted to drink 50 cups to compensate his loss.
  • Sydney Casino is old and dirty, Melbourne Crown casino is the best.

This is only 3/10 of my journey. If you don’t want to miss any post, make sure you sign up my RSS or follow me at Twitter!
